ABOUT US

Hello! We're Sarah and Bruce, the proud owners of Wellewen Holiday Cottages.

After enjoying many holidays in the Welsh countryside with our beloved spaniels across the years, in 2020 we decided to retire from our day jobs and make the move to West Wales, to call this stunning location our home.

​

As a once-working farm, however untouched for many years, we fell in love with Wellewen as soon as we laid our eyes on it. Since then, it has been our mission to bring this old farm back to life and share its beauty with the world.

We've been on a long and rewarding journey to get to where we are today. We started off by creating our stunning lake and meadow area, before moving onto the refurbishment of our shepherd's hut - Hickin's Hut - into a cosy and modern stay with a wood-fired hot tub in a stunning setting. Our next challenge was to carefully revamp the old farm buildings into cosy cottages, while retaining some of the classic features and charm. We opened Cattle Tree Cottage and The Parlour at 2023, ready to welcome families, friends and couples to Wellewen.
